We’re thrilled to announce that on January 8, 2012, Access Church will begin meeting in a permanent facility located at 4911 Losco Road in Jacksonville.

We are upgrading an existing facility, which will allow us to create appealing environments for years to come in Jacksonville. The campus on Losco Road includes 11 acres of land and 26,500 square feet of buildings. These buildings were originally designed for school use and not designed for our type of environments. Much work is needed to upgrade the facilities to engage our audience.
Planned upgrades include:

• A 400-seat auditorium with flexible seating.
• Themed environments for children, birth through fifth grade.
• Large-group and small-group space for teenagers.
• A Starting Point room.
• Offices.
• 100 parking spaces.

What does this mean for my family?

Convenience
The new location is actually more convenient for most Access Church attenders. It is located just off I-295 at Old St. Augustine Road.

Safety
This will provide a safer and cleaner environment for our children than UNF.

Age appropriate
Environments will be themed for children according to their age.

Expansion
We will be able to masterplan the facility so that it has room for family growth.

Family friendly
We envision this facility being one of the premier places for families in this part of the state.

Why not buy land and build a building?
We estimate that a building that could accommodate Access Church would cost over $5 million. While this might be the right step in the future, we’re not there yet.

Why this location?
This was by far the best opportunity our real-estate team came across in months of searching, and we’re excited about the opportunity to be in a residential community!

Can we afford this?
It will actually cost less to lease and operate this facility each month than it would cost us to stay at UNF. We feel this is a great opportunity to manage our resources well, create permanent, irresistible environments, and have an all-week-long presence in the community.

How much will it cost?
We are asking that each family and single person at Access Church pray about their participation in this project. This is the boldest move we’ve made yet, and it has the greatest potential to reach hundreds and eventually thousands of people with the great news of a loving and gracious God. For this to be successful, we need each and every person who attends Access to join us with your prayers, your finances, your time, and your relationships.

Specifically, we need bold gifts that go above and beyond anything we’ve done as an organization before. We will phase the build-out based on how much money is pledged toward the project by October 23, 2011. Our goal is to create environments to which we’re proud to invite friends and family.

Will you please pray about your bold gift to this project? If you’re married, pray with your spouse and discuss this carefully. Then on or before October 23, make a gift toward this project or commit to an amount that you will give no later than December 31, 2011. This will help us know exactly how to phase the upgrades to the property.
